In the early 20th century, the phrase "sell me a dog" became synonymous with lies breeders told about their dogs in order to more easily sell them. In "Sell Me A Pup," hosts Brandon Kirkman, Eli Harvey and their dog-intern Ryan ask Chicago's best comics and improvisers to do just that: review great pop culture that you may not already know because they're making it up on the spot. Join the gang as they discuss the best music, movies, video games, books and television series, both real and invented, playing games and conducting reviews to sell us that pup.

Brandon Kirkman
Brandon Kirkman does both art and comedy to the best of his abilities. He currently produces a monthly themed comedy show called Ego Trip Club as well as co-hosting the insanely fun open mic All Effin' Night with fellow Machine Head Jesse Nicolaus and Sam Gordon.
He has a B.F.A. in Illustration from Northern Illinois University that also came bundled together with crippling student debt. If you like the idea of art and comedy as well as seeing Brandon's art and comedy, check out kirkmanbrandon.tumblr.com.
If you ever see Brandon Kirkman alone on the streets, give him a knowing nod and then whisper softly into his ear, "The Suns of Ra do not exist".
Eli Harvey
Eli Harvey is an agender writer and storyteller from Atlanta, GA who grew up on Gilmore Girls and cheese grits. Creator and host of "Sell Me a Pup," Eli can be found reading their short stories in bookstores across Chicago, supporting their friends at stand-up comedy shows, or petting their small dog, Doodle (Ryan). Eli is currently working on their graphic novel Dead Weight with the help of Brooklyn-based illustrator and "Lenny Letter" contributor Danie Drankwalter.
