Samantha Berkman
This week we all received the heartbreaking news regarding the loss of Samantha Berkman. Sam truly was a wonderfully funny, loving, and creative friend, a bright light in Chicago comedy, an enthusiastic host, an awesome guest, and she made a lasting impact on us. As a way to celebrate her humor, creativity, and friendship, we have compiled all episodes featuring Sam to share with everyone. Our thoughts are with Toby, her friends, and family.
Three goofs and Chicago comics, Samantha Berkman, James Fisher, and Dane Arden, bring a guest on every two weeks to talk about video games, current video game culture as well as our experience playing video games growing up and try to bring back that feeling of sitting on the couch playing video games with your friends.
This week we have LUKE SCHULER, the artist of our cool logo and the creator of Boss Nostalgic. On this episode we ask Luke about his favorite video game, what games he's playing now, his favorite gaming moments and we discover what game activity will likely get you put on a list, commence the first of many Samantha Berkman Burps on the podcast, find out Dane is very mean to Hanzo players, and overall have a good time. Check out our youtube page New Player Pod to watch us play Mario Party 2 and see who wins the most amount of mini games.
This week we bring on our first New Player Has Entered The Show CHAMPION and podcast favorite Jamie Carbone on to talk about Favorite SNES Games, How scary Ocarina of Time was, and our favorite break up games.
We have Toby McMullen on this week and we cover all sorts of topics like Doki Doki Literature Club, Chrono Trigger, Anime Dating Sims on Newgrounds, and Toby and Sam break up on the podcast.
Impress Me With Music
Get Them Away from the Greeks with Toby & Sam
Samantha Berkman and Toby McMullen try to impress Mary & Dave with music, and things get a little crazy. We talk Eminem's new album, George & Jonathan, Jorja Smith, PUP, Googie, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Mick Jenkins and of course, Lena Dunham. It's a long one, but a good one.
Please Make This
Last Train Home (w/ Samantha Berkman)
Odessa is a proud young woman, and for good reason. She is the bravest of the brave, the strongest of the strong, the cleverest of the clever. When her friends want to go out for a night of party-hopping, it’s only natural that they turn to her to lead them. Can Odessa lead a motley crew of young drunks (including her naive little sister) around Chicago and make it back in time to snuggle up to her beau? Will she (with the distant aid of her wise eldest sister) be able to keep the group together and navigate a night of drinking contests, arrogant party-boys, seductive taco joints and one sinister cyclist, or will she and her sister miss The Last Train Home?!

Time ticks by slowly in Sauna City. Like a bead of sweat running down your face or film that’s just one scene too long. Steve Gerard, film critic, knows this all too well. Steve’s been spending way too much time online, and he’s started to notice something he worries no one else has seen: a killer, lurking sites and bragging about a string of mysterious murders of online personalities. Can Steve connect the clues across the web that no one else is noticing? Or is the sweltering summer heat and constant diet of content making him lose his mind?
