Dumbguy Bookclub
We are two Chicago comedians who read books that only a dumb guy would pick up. Then we sit down and record ourselves discussing the themes and characters like a traditional book club. Sometimes this is an exercise in masochism and sometimes we are pleasantly surprised with a fun read.

Jacob Lowrey
Jacob Lowrey is a comedian based out of Chicago, Illinois. He runs a weekly stand-up show called Wet Cash at Dark Tower Comics in the above average Lincoln Square neighborhood. He also runs an open mic that he isn't too terribly proud of, so let's pretend like it hasn't even been mentioned.
When he isn't punishing himself reading books for Dumb Guy Bookclub he is thinking about books to read for Dumbguy Bookclub.
Jacob is survived by his lovely girlfriend Dianna. He will be dearly missed.
Chris Rice
Chris Rice is a stand up comedian and writer from Chicago. He is also an organizer with Socialist Alternative. Most importantly he's a dumbass.
