During a trip to Hong Kong, I experienced a couple of inspirational machine culture examples. I have described them in a mini-series of postings and this is one of them.
Ok, this is not that new. Already in 2000 I saw the same system in Berlin and I guess that it have been around in Japan for ages. But is till nice - and a very good way of intrudcing sushi to non-believers: The sushi dishes are passing through the guests on a conveying belt and you can choose what ever looks rigth to you. A nice detail on Genki Sushi is that also the hot water for green tea is available for the guessts directly in taps at the table.
