HK Observations 7 of 9: The Little Things

During a trip to Hong Kong, I experienced a couple of inspirational machine culture examples. I have described them in a mini-series of postings and this is one of them.

And then there is all the little things. Little strange, funny and cool things which makes you go hmm… Some of these are reported here. First there is the “Sterilize your hands” soap box placed rather unmotivated on a wall close to Stanley on Hong Kong island. Another is the this megaphone which were lying on the floor of a shop and screaming out the instructions on the sale , what to buy and so on. The Third is the absolutely giant mailbox which makes no sense at all unless there is something more to it than meets the eye – maybe it is also a drop box for valuable or what do I know. Last but not least this sign in in a tiny park area: No radio controlled cars allowed … bad luck.
